Department Head Message

Welcome to the Department of Marketing and Strategy (MSLE) in the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University, where we are dedicated to shaping the next generation of leaders in entrepreneurship, marketing, digital commerce, strategy, leadership, and international business. Our department offers a comprehensive range of both undergraduate and graduate courses and programs designed to train students with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in today's dynamic and global business environment.

Within our department, students have access to three of the most important centers at Utah State University, including the Utah Women’s Leadership Project, the Stephen R. Covey Leadership Center, and the Entrepreneurship Center. These centers serve as hubs of student activity and innovation, offering resources and support to further enhance the learning experience.

 Our distinguished faculty are committed to delivering the latest concepts and principles in their courses, ensuring that students receive an elite education that is both relevant and practical. With a focus on student-centered learning and cutting-edge research, our faculty members are recognized as thought leaders in their respective fields.

Our programs of study are currently experiencing rapid growth in enrollment, reflecting the increasing demand for expertise in marketing, strategy, and leadership. Our graduates consistently find rewarding employment opportunities with small innovative entrepreneurial companies to Fortune 500 firms upon graduation. Whether launching their own ventures or leading teams within established global organizations, our students are prepared for success in a variety of career paths.

As the newly appointed department head, I am excited to be a part of such an amazing and strong department.
