Printing Approval

Please send any project(s) related to recruiting or external marketing (off-campus/public facing) to for final approval before printing.

Here is a helpful guide for sending your products to the printer. See below for paper choices, who to contact, and what information to include. Any specific questions can be sent directly to PDP and TSC copy center. Their helpful and friendly staff can walk you through any questions you may have.

Paper Guide

Topkote (house brand of paper) options:

  • 80# text weight (like copy paper); dull or gloss
  • 100# text weight (heavy brochure pages, lighter than cardstock); dull or gloss
  • 78# cover weight (heavier than 100 text, heavy posters); dull or gloss
  • 95# cover weight (flat cards); dull or gloss
  • Carolina: coated one side, cardstock (good for postcards)
  • Cougar (uncoated paper):
    • Comes in smooth (white) and natural (off-white).
    • Pricier than Topkote, but great for high-end pieces and for writing on.
  • Most often ordered:
  • Cougar smooth 100# cover (folded cards, heavy flat card)
  • Cougar Smooth 80# cover (flat card, certificate)
  • Cougar Smooth 65# Cover (saddlestitched brochure)

Ordering Prints

  • Email TSC Copy Center (usually smaller jobs,programs, handouts, paper)
  • Or Email Greg at PDP: (usually larger or more complex jobs like swag, brochures, posters, banners, etc)
  • In your email to TSC or PDP please include your request with the following info:
    • What is it? (booklet, flyers, cards, etc)
    • Quantity
    • Type of paper
    • Any other printing instructions (saddle-stitched, printed double sided, trifold, die cuts, etc)
    • OCC# or Index#
    • Deadline
    • Location to be delivered or order for pick-up
    • Campus Vendor - pay with Index Number
