Minor Technical Sales Management
Technical Sales Management that is specifically tailored to the future professional needs of undergraduates majoring in the sciences, technology, engineering, and mathematics. However,
the curriculum has applicability and would complement any academic course of study.
The program was developed in direct response to communications from industry indicating individuals who have both technical skills and training in sales management are the most desirable applicants. The program features:
- Hands -on workshops with leaders from industry
- Internship and discussion opportunities with potential employers, including Juniper Systems, Orbital ATK, Campbell Scientific, ASI, ThermoFisher, Balchem, and Space Dynamics Laboratories
- Training in Strategic Sales, New Venture Financing, Marketing, Negotiations, and Sales Technology.
Minor Requirements (16 Credits)
An overall GPA of 2.67, 40 completed credits and acceptance into a degree program is required for enrollment in any business minor and business course 3000 level or higher. A student from outside the Huntsman School who desires to pursue any business minor must recognize that there may be prerequisites to required minor courses and that a GPA of 2.5 must be obtained in minor courses.
