Society for International Business and Economic Development
Who Are We?
The Society of International Business and Economic Development (SIBED) works with the Go Global Committee and the Study Abroad office to promote international experiences, help our peers gain global awareness, and create a worldwide professional network for our members. We also aim to train students on real world global economics and business practices.
What Do We Do?
Our club provides workshops, networking events, international speakers, and activities that focus on helping you become an international business professional. Currently, SIBED is in the process of starting an international business that will be student ran. This semester we will also be participating in the Utah Global Forum and will be hosting an international themed professor debate. We also collaborate with other clubs on campus including the International Studies and Global Communication club.
Who Can Join?
SIBED is a place for students of all backgrounds who want to learn about the world and global events. We have students from all over participating in our organization. Currently, SIBED is looking for officers to help lead this year's initiative. Please contact the Club President for more information.
