Lecture Series Looks to Educate Hopeful Entrepreneurs
By Rob Goates
Over the last few weeks, the Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence has offered students and others in Logan, and USU’s regional campuses, insight into the real stories of Utah-based entrepreneurs through its newly-launched Executive Lecture Series in Entrepreneurship.
The lecture series is part of the Center’s commitment to teach the skills of entrepreneurial leadership, and assist with the creation, development, and growth of new ventures, organizers say.
The speakers, so far, have all come from successful nationwide businesses based out of Utah, such as Ragnar Relay Series, iFrogz, Dolphin Capital, and MedQuest.
Tanner Bell, Ken Jacquin and Chris Infurchia, all part of the Ragnar Relay Series, were the first to present in the lectures series Jan. 18, and the video of their presentation may be found here. A blog entry about the presentation is posted here.
Scott Huskinson and Clay Broadbent, the cofounders of the Logan-based company iFrogz, presented Jan. 25, and the video of their presentation can be found here. A blog entry about the presentation is posted here.
Eric Jacobsen, one of the cofounders and the current managing partner of Dolphin Capital group, presented Feb. 1 and the video of his presentation may be found here.
The pdf handbook for the lectures series, featuring all speakers and their bios, may be found here.
