Management Information Systems Department

Data science and analytics are not just buzzwords -- they represent an essential component of modern business. The Department of Management Information Systems provides an outstanding opportunity for students to gain the skills and experience needed in an increasingly data-driven world, to use information and data technologies to inform strategic decision-making in the private and public sectors. Students in MIS learn how to problem-solve with advanced database management, programming, and analytics tools, collaborating with faculty who are at the forefront of these fields. Students also have the opportunity to network and apply their learning in real-world settings, through internships, student clubs, and Huntsman School events.
