Global Vision: International Exprience Opportunities

Come prepare for your essential international experience! As computers became more prevalent in the business environment of the early 2000’s, the greater necessity for businesses to hire college graduates with computer training. The same is true with a globalizing business world and the necessity for graduates with international experience. More companies are conducting business abroad, creating a greater need for employees with international experience. Looking ahead at this growing employment necessity, the Huntsman School will be holding a Focused Friday Break-out Session on April 13, from 11:30 to 12:30 to educate students how to select, finance, and succeed in an international experience. The office of Global Engagement, the SEED Program, and Go Global Programs will be presenting their opportunities in which a panel discussion and Q&A will follow. Refreshments will close out the session. We look forward to seeing you there!

Vivint Solar Competition

This is a team competition (2-4 people). You must create your own team comprised of only juniors, seniors or graduate students in the Huntsman School of Business. Lunch will be provided.

Competition Details:
Each team will be give the same "Office Business Case.” The case will include employee personality profiles, business challenges and opportunities. Following the presentation of the case, there will be a 30 minute open question/answer period with experienced leaders where teams can ask clarifying questions and seek additional knowledge. Teams will then have a 45 minute work session to brainstorm and return with a presentation on how they would organize the team, spend the office budget and develop a go-to-market strategy that would best meet the overall goals for the office. A team of judges will determine who has the best overall strategy and plan to achieve successful results for the business. Winning team will receive $500 in cash for EACH team member.
