We offer DJ services for weddings and other various events and parties. We can also other media services such as live and studio sound recording and sound engineering.
I have always had a love for sharing music and felt that I could make something out of that. I had some very basic equipment to start with and as I was hired more and more I was able to take off from there.
You have to start somewhere. Don't drop a ton of money expecting success to come along with it. When any opportunity comes in the interest of your business don't hesitate or it'll be too late.

Hellroaring Powder Guides offers guided and unguided ski trips to a permitted hut, located in the Centennial Mountains of Idaho and Montana.
I enjoy skiing, especially in the Centennial area, an opportunity to do this commercially arose and I have decided to pursue what I love, skiing, and showing people the most fun they've ever had in my backyard.
You don't need a textbook to tell you how to pursue your passion, or be ambitious.

We build custom made Picnic Tables and other custom wood projects. Our tables are very sturdy, well built, resistant to mold and warping. They make a very beautiful addition to anyone's living space.
I have been in carpentry for around 8 years. Building picnic tables have always been something I am good at. Starting my own business has been something I have always want to do. The USU Entrepreneurship Club helped me bring it all together.
My advice for any Aggie Entrepreneurs would be to just go for it, and not hold back. Do what you love.

Peel n' Press creates and sells laser cut applique kits for the quilting industry. We are working to build the worlds largest selection of pre-cut applique kits. To accomplish this we work with the worlds leading pattern writers and fabric suppliers.
I started my own business because I love creating things from scratch. There is just a great feeling that comes from doing something in a way that has never been done before. It brings great satisfaction to my life knowing that I created something unique and hope it will continue to help individuals do more of what they love to do.
I would have to say, don't let fear stop you. Many people will tell you to go get a "real" job, but even if your venture doesn't prove "successful" you will learn more then you could imagine. I think the core to any new venture is setting your mind on it and never looking back. Always move forward.

We rent event supplies to people/businesses such as tents, tables, chairs, etc.
I was working for a company that is now my competitor and I didn't like how they conducted business and I knew there was a much more efficient and better way to do it.
Just do it.

Victorious Bikes is a high performance fatbike company. We work to have the fattest, lightest, and most high performing fatbikes on the market.
I started Victorious Bikes because I love bikes and I love importing products from Taiwan and China. I also enjoy the thrill of building my own company and building a corporation.
Act. When you see an opportunity chase it down. Put your money where your mouth is.
