Biography

Cameron J. Cuch is a Lecturer in the Department of Marketing & Strategy in the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business and Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship at Utah State University - Uintah Basin. Cameron has extensive experience as an executive, entrepreneur, educator and has consulted with numerous corporations in energy development, business strategy, regulatory environment, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and special situation advisory. His equity positions have included Finley Resources Inc, Uinta Wax, CH4 Energy and clients Halliburton, Caerus Oil and Gas, Utah Gas Corp, Integrated Energy Companies IEC, Jones & DeMille Engineering, and Ute Tribal Enterprises. He was also a Co-Founder of Jade Energy, LLC, a company focused on the transportation of crude oil and energy-related products (divested interest). Cameron formerly served as Vice President of Government Affairs & Regulatory for Crescent Point Energy U.S Corp., a publicly traded oil and gas company NYSE/TSE: CPG, based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada operations in Canada, North Dakota, Montana, and Utah.

Before joining Crescent Point Energy, Cameron was an executive leader in the successful start-up of Ute Energy LLC, an oil, gas, and midstream company jointly owned by the Ute Indian Tribe and private equity fund Quantum Energy Partners Houston, Texas. He later joined Crescent Point Energy after the successful purchase and sale of Ute Energy Upstream LLC for $861 million in 2012. His early career began at Colorado State University CSU-Fort Collins, CO, and in tribal government with the Ute Indian Tribe of the Uintah & Ouray Reservation, Utah. Cameron and his wife, Marilyn, a Senior Lecturer at USU’s Emma Eccles Jones College of Education, have two children.
