Rising Together: Women Empowering Women

As part of the 2026 Women in Leadership Executive Speaker Series, the webinar Rising Together: Women Empowering Women will spotlight the power of collaboration, mentorship, and collective action in advancing women’s leadership. Moderated by Dr. Susan R. Madsen, this dynamic conversation will feature three distinguished leaders: Melanie Jones, CEO of the Women’s Leadership Institute; Bettina Smith Edmondson, Layton City Council Member and community advocate; and Connie Sokol, author, speaker, and founder of Balance Redefined and Born to Lead. Together, they will explore how women can lift one another through intentional support, shared vision, and systemic change. The discussion will highlight practical strategies for building inclusive networks, fostering resilience, and amplifying women’s voices across sectors. Attendees will gain insights into overcoming barriers, cultivating confidence, and creating pathways for the next generation of women leaders. This session promises to inspire and equip participants to rise together—empowering women to lead boldly and transform communities.
