Join us every Wednesday for Entrepreneurship Club, a place for students to connect, learn, and build their entrepreneurial skills. Each week includes hands-on activities, a mentoring session with experienced entrepreneurs, or a pitch competition where students can share their ideas, get feedback, and compete for prizes. Whether you’re building a business, exploring an idea, or just interested in entrepreneurship, E-Club is a great way to meet other students, connect with mentors, and get involved with the E-Center.
Shingo Center Pit Crew Challenge: Kickoff Briefing (event 1 of 2)
Student Activities
The Shingo Student Center kicks off the Pit Crew Challenge, sponsored by Discount Tire. Crews of four from any major will race to build a LEGO car as fast as a NASCAR pit crew changes tires. At the briefing you'll hear how Discount Tire uses a pit crew challenge to build a culture of operational excellence, learn the six ways crews find speed, take home a LEGO practice kit, and run your first timed round. Attendance earns points toward the championship. The winning crew earns an all-expenses-paid trip to Las Vegas on October 19-20th to train with Discount Tire's NASCAR pit crew. Food will be served. The main event is on Sept 23rd, but come to this event for points towards winning and to learn how pit crews go fast! Register to attend.
