Biography

Adam started his career as a consultant with Arthur Andersen in 1999, after which he joined ExxonMobil developing accounting and tax functionality for the Executive Compensation System.

Over the next decade, Adam held various leadership, management, and staff positions in software development, project planning and delivery, IT strategy, and support for Upstream Production, Development, Exploration, and Corporate functions

In 2011, Adam relocated to Budapest, Hungary as the IT Service Projects Delivery Manager and member of the local IT Management team. In 2013, he returned to Houston and became the CIO's Chief of Staff and IT Strategic Planning Manager.

In 2014, Adam led the formation of the Analytics Solutions team which was tasked with enabling greater value for the Corporation by partnering with the business to more deeply leverage analytics capabilities, services, and tools.

In March of 2016, Adam joined the Fuels and Lubricants Company to form and lead a team that rapidly identified and tested new business models that could deliver significant value and promoted commercial risk-taking.

In August of 2018, returned to IT as the Architecture and Technology Manager where he leads a team responsible for defining modern architectures and incubating technology that drives IT & digital strategies

Adam received his undergraduate degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Information Systems from Brigham Young University and a Master of Business Administration Degree in Finance from Tulane University.

Adam and his wife, Diana, live in The Woodlands, Texas, and have three sons: ages 21, 18, and 13. The two oldest are students at Utah State University.

Adam enjoys outdoor activities, music, business strategy, innovation, and analytics.
