Biography

Matt Vance is the Employee Experience Manager at Malouf. In this role, he oversees the collection and use of all employee feedback for Malouf’s network of four locations and nearly 500 employees. Using this employee feedback, he leads the deployment of employee-happiness programs and evaluates initiative impacts.

An implant in the HR world, Matt’s background is in feedback management. He founded the reputation department at Malouf, which is now responsible for managing customer reviews across 1,500 product listings on 50 plus ecommerce sites. Malouf’s catalog of products has a 4.32-star average with over 330,000 ratings.

Matt’s feedback methodologies have been nationally recognized nationally with a 2019 Gold Stevie Award for Best Customer Feedback Strategy above runners-up including: Bank of America, Delta Airlines, DHL, IBM, Intuit, and VIZIO Inc.

He has now adapted his approach on customer feedback to employee feedback, helping Malouf rank seven times as a national best place to work on Glassdoor, Comparably, InHerSight and Inc. Magazine.

A native of Spanish Fork, Utah and a track-athlete Utah State University alumnus, Matt now claims Logan as home. He enjoys running, cycling, disc golf, and playing with his three daughters.
