Biography

A Utah native, David earned a B.S. in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Utah in 2010. After a year in a PhD program at Cornell, he decided to leave and start Power Practical. While sitting around a campfire in 2012, David was inspired to find a way to do something useful with wasted energy. With no prior business background, David has successfully recruited a team, launched seven Kickstarter products totaling over $2 million, raised angel and venture capital, and placed products in retail stores across the globe.
