Biography

Ryan is the Executive Director of the Charles Koch Foundation, which supports universities and other nonprofit organizations exploring the ideas and institutions that help people improve their lives. Ryan works with other business leaders and donors to enhance their philanthropy in higher education. Ryan serves on the Board of Directors for the Bill of Rights Institute, the Institute for Humane Studies, and TeamCFA, an organization that establishes charter schools across the country. He earned his bachelor's degree in liberal arts and his master's degree in political science from Utah State University. He currently lives in Utah with his wife, Rebecca, and their four children.
