Biography

James Sneddon leads a team focused on Strategic Sourcing and optimization projects supporting Albertsons’ expansive network of transportation and distribution centers. This is an ecosystem of 19 DCs and various 3PLs, which support over 2400 retail stores across the country.

Previous to his current role, James was Category Leader at JR Simplot where he led a Sourcing team tasked with managing all capital projects including building several food processing plants, one of which was in India, and maintaining more than 15 manufacturing facilities worldwide.

With a strong track record of building and leading teams, James is a 20-year veteran of the tech sector having spent significant time with the "who's who" of Silicon Valley and enabling tech companies. James held several senior positions interacting regularly with the CxO and VP levels at Google, Qualcomm, and Intel overseeing multimillion-dollar projects, contracts, and accounts in the International arena. Indeed, being bilingual in Japanese, James’ first professional role was working for Kobe Steel in Tokyo, Japan.
