Biography

Since 2004, Dr. Preston Parker has created and taught university courses in social media, management, marketing, public relations, entrepreneurship, professional communication, new venture marketing, and innovative thinking in communication.

In 2006, he began serving as a faculty adviser to Utah State University's Entrepreneurship Club, which turned into serving as a member of the Entrepreneurship Center’s Founder’s Board in the Huntsman School of Business. He has started several businesses, including a multimedia production company, an instructional design company, a real estate holdings company, a restaurant, a produce company, and a consulting company.

Dr. Parker is currently involved in developing higher education curriculum to help people become better users of social media. In this regard, he founded the non-profit organization the Social Media Club of Cache Valley.

He also has a passion for all things multimedia, and has been involved in many video, film, and web productions from brainstorming, to writing, to directing, to editing. He has been actively involved in educating others in these crafts and future technologies.

But really, he would just like to be known as a good husband, and solid father to his six young, active children.
