Biography

Originally from a little town in Maine, Bruce has made Utah his home since 1988. When he and his wife were first married, they took a trip to Bear Lake and drove through beautiful Logan and by awesome USU. When Bruce saw the school, he knew it was the place for him, and they have been here ever since.

Bruce's career has offered many valuable experiences including working in insurance, finance, sales, manufacturing, construction management, and health care. Currently, Bruce owns a local home care business that helps people safely age in place in their homes. It is a wonderful service and very fulfilling. His other interests include involvement in local politics through serving on the North Logan City Council, economic development as a board member of the Cache Valley Chamber of Commerce and Cache Valley Economic Development Alliance, and various other local service boards. Bruce also enjoys the opportunity of working with the USU Center for Entrepreneurship as a board member and student mentor.

When Bruce has spare time, you can find him with his family enjoying outdoor activities including hiking, road and mountain biking, water sports, camping, exploring and motorcycling.
