Biography

Kim Larson is a Senior Demand Analyst for Thermo Fisher Scientific in the Bioproduction division. In this position, she works with the production of biologics-based therapeutic drugs.

These include therapies, vaccines, gene therapies, and cell therapies. Thermo Fisher’s customers are primarily pharmaceutical companies. Kim is responsible for forecasting demand for the supply team, manufacturing site, and finance department. Thermo Fisher has been a critical player in producing new pharmaceuticals, including COVID-19 remedies and vaccines.

Prior to her role with Thermo Fisher, Kim was a demand analyst in the cell culture division of GE Healthcare. In this position, Kim was responsible for forecasting demand for more than 200M per year in products designed for pharmaceutical companies and their manufacturers. She also forecasted demand for the sales, finance, engineering, manufacturing, and supply teams.

Prior to her time with GE Healthcare, Kim was President and CFO of Information Alliance, a market research company she founded with several partners. As an entrepreneur, she worked for 15 years with clients worldwide to provide market research data. Kim was also responsible for analyzing market research data and financial data. Kim also served as president of the Market Research Association.

Kim received her bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and her MBA with an emphasis in finance from the USU’s Huntsman School of Business.
