There he assisted oil companies, utility companies, start-up firms, and consumer product organizations. While there he also was the "global human performance lead for organization and change strategy in resources."

Before working for Accenture he worked for Exxon for 18 years as a manager and internal consultant. There he worked in research, contributed to the area that focused on the company’s chemical business and the areas that were tasked with finding, producing, refining, and marketing oil.

As a consultant, he has worked with a variety of companies located in Europe, Russia, Asia, South America, the Middle East, and the United States.

He offers a wide range of assistance to organizations; helping them do such things as define their strategic priorities and better develop their capabilities. He helps companies understand their structure and how it works. He assists some companies as they redesign their organization, restructure or just better clarify their roles.

He graduated with a bachelor's degree in business management and communication from Brigham Young University. He got his master's degrees in organizational communication from BYU and did post-graduate Ph.D. work in organizational management at Rutgers University.
