Daily Foods became widely known for producing premium bacon products, reaching $100 million in sales in 2005 when it was acquired by Seaboard Industries. Major customers were the U.S. Government, McDonald's, Arby's, Whataburger, Sysco, and the Las Vegas Hotels. He elected to retire in 2002 and spends much time traveling with his family and playing competitive softball.

In his spare time, he has taught accounting and economics courses at Weber State University and the LDS Business College.

For seven years Mr. Hendricks served on the development board for St. Vincent DePaul Food Kitchen. He continued his charitable service by serving as treasurer and on the board of directors for Habitat for Humanity. He was with Habitat for Humanity for four years. He now serves on the board for the Davis County Women's Shelter.
