Biography

Matthew Eyring is Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer at Vivint Inc., the largest home automation company in North America. Matt leads Vivint’s directional growth initiatives in the home automation, residential security, and solar markets.

Before joining Vivint, Matt was the managing partner of Innosight, a global strategy and innovation consulting firm. Matt led worldwide strategy and operations at the firm, as well as the healthcare and emerging markets practices. Matthew joined Innosight as a partner and co-owner in 2001 and was critical in helping the firm grow to its current leadership position.

Prior to Innosight, Matthew was Vice President and General Manager at LavaStorm, an Internet professional services company. He also worked as a product manager in the cardiac surgery division of medical device manufacturer Medtronic.

Matt currently serves on the board of Virgin Health Miles, part of the UK-based Virgin Group. He is the co-author of several Harvard Business Review articles. Matt holds a BA in economics from the University of Utah and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
