Biography

As one of the founding members of Larson & Company, Geri Douglas has always been a builder and isn’t afraid to start from the ground up. Geri has specialized in coordinating, reviewing, and presenting audits for insurance, government, employee benefit plans, and not-for-profit entities since 1985, and is one of our most experienced partners working in regulated industries.

Her audit work is both accurate and timely and always proceeds with the utmost efficiency. Geri’s insightfulness ensures that her clients receive a level of value well above that which is provided by the basic, technical requirements of an audit. Her thorough nature is a true asset to her clients. Her expertise includes all accounting procedures and all current auditing standards and regulations as specified by the AICPA.

Geri has also been involved with mentoring and encouraging women in the field of accounting. She has been active in supporting organizations for women who are students as well as currently practicing in accounting. Her leadership has been instrumental in many lives. Geri’s thorough knowledge of the intricacies of all aspects of accounting has made her a valuable resource to the private entities we serve.
