Biography

Paul Dickson is Chief Revenue Officer at Vivint Solar, one of the nation’s leading full-service residential solar integrators. In this position, he’s responsible for directing the systems, processes, and solutions that make it possible for Vivint Solar to deliver lower-cost power to homeowners, and generally oversees sales and revenue opportunities. As a member of the founding team of Vivint Solar, Paul was instrumental in creating the company’s business thesis, and has comprehensive knowledge and experience in financial and operations strategy. He has also played a significant role in raising over $1B in tax equity funding, a critical component of the Vivint Solar business model.

Prior to his time at Vivint Solar, Paul served as President and CEO of Meter Solutions, a smart-grid energy management company that he co-founded as a university student. Under his leadership, Meter Solutions was named one of Utah’s “Top 10 Startups to Watch,” and was later sold to Vivint, Inc., after receiving several other industry accolades.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University, where he was named Student Entrepreneur of the Year, and Top Student Entrepreneur in the state of Utah.
