Biography

As a Partner at Strategic Leadership Partners, Jane leads CEOs, Executive Teams and their organizations in strategy creation and execution. She guides leaders through a process to establish and maintain industry leadership by clearly defining what they do and why, whom they serve, and how they will engage and develop their team members with the right systems to succeed.

In her role as a Board Member of the Utah State University Center for Entrepreneurship, Jane enjoys one of her most cherished opportunities to mentor USU's incredibly bright, compassionate, and dedicated student entrepreneurs. It is her great privilege to help build international entrepreneurial programs such as Small Enterprise Education and Development (SEED) where students live in developing countries and teach entrepreneurs how to build self-reliance through starting and growing a business. Both the students and those whom they teach experience a powerful transformation in their collaboration through the SEED experience.

As a PhD student, Jane conducts research on the ways in which Employees' life and workplace well-being are impacted when their company engages in doing good for society and for the planet. Her goal is to guide leaders in designing their initiatives to maximize the benefit not only for the community but for the members of their own organizations.

As Co-Founder of the Utah Morocco Alliance, Jane has worked with government, business, education, press, military and humanitarian organizations in building partnerships between the U.S. and its oldest ally, Morocco. Jane has taught Arabic and hosts international delegations from around the world as a member of the Utah Council for Citizen Diplomacy.

Jane's work, documented in international academic journals, has taken her throughout Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa, where she has trained software and platform developers and empowered communities in need with self-reliance and entrepreneurial tools.

Jane Day and her husband, John, are co-authors of "The Longevity Plan: Seven Life-Transforming Lessons from Ancient China," published by Harper Collins in 2017. In their book, seminars, newsletters, and on their website, they share the simple longevity lifestyle principles of the Chinese centenarians who live free from the diseases and disabilities that are increasingly plaguing so many in a modern society of conveniences and comforts. The Longevity Plan illuminates the mindful paths available to us, and helps us connect with our purpose to create sustainable solutions that promote our individual and collective well being.
