Biography

Rosario Bazan is the CEO of DanPer, a company headquartered in Trujillo, Peru.

DanPer packages preserved asparagus, artichokes, red piquillo peppers and other vegetables.

She earned an executive MBA INCA at the University Adolfo Ibanez in Chile. She got her master’s degree from the University of Rochester, Institute of Technology. She also did postgraduate studies at the Management of Total Quality in Osaka, Japan.

Under her leadership, DanPer has become a company that is often held up as an example of a firm that treats its employees well and invests in their personal growth.

Workers at DanPer have healthcare coverage and the company has won awards for social responsibility and sustainable development. In fact, DanPer has played a key role in the establishment of the SEED program at the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business.

In Peru, Ms. Bazan has been named "Business Leader of the Year" and the College of Engineers, La Libertad, presented her an excellence award in professional exercise/practice and managerial development. DanPer has received the “Great National Quality Prize” and the Social Responsibility and the Sustainable Development awards. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, an international honor society serving accredited business programs.
