Biography

Chris Barrow has over 30 years of experience in software, technology and services sectors. Starting his career in IT, as a system engineer and eventually as a sales executive in enterprise sales both domestically and internationally.  Eventual progression led Chris from senior sales roles, to running sales teams and eventually to running companies as President and CEO.  In 2008 Chris took over as CEO of a brand-new startup company called EagleView Technologies.  As a result of his leadership, EagleView became one of the most exciting, fastest-growing dynamic companies in the technology sector.  Chris was responsible for growing EagleView Technologies from a brand-new startup with ‘2 guys and a dog” to a company with over 1000 employees and revenues over $150MM.   In 2015, just over 6 years from startup EagleView, sold to a private equity company for $750MM.

After leaving EagleView last year, Chris raised $150MM and started Imagen Capital Partners, a tech venture investment company focused on early to mid-stage startup companies.  Chris currently sits on 5 private tech company boards and has invested in a dozen different tech companies since starting his fund.

Chris holds a B.S. Information Management from Brigham Young University.  He is fluent in Spanish having lived in Bogota, Colombia for 10 years and also served a 2 year Spanish-speaking mission in East Los Angeles working with Hispanic families and youth.

Chris has actively served in leadership roles in the boy scouts and with youth organizations for over a decade.  He is an avid outdoorsman with a passion for fly fishing.
