The Research GroupTM is a nationally recognized consortium of university scholars, corporate leaders and qualified undergraduate students dedicated to high quality research experiences that contribute to the business profession.
The objective is to promote a sense of engaged scholarship; research that both contributes to the common body of knowledge and is useful to the business community.
The program believes that the best way to accomplish this objective is to leverage a convergence of rigor and relevance.
Rigor: There is a fundamental quest for knowledge generation.
Relevance: The resulting research is useful to business.
By leveraging the dual objective of rigor and relevance, students become better prepared for success in graduate school and their chosen careers.
Participation in The Research GroupTM is open to all academically qualified undergraduate students regardless of major or college.
Qualifications for students are based on a variety of standards but primarily involve academic achievement and educational goals.
The resulting research is ordinarily published in professional publications related to business and/or presented at conferences to support the business profession.
