Master of Business Administration with a Specialization in Shingo Leadership and Enterprise Excellence
The Jon M. Huntsman School of Business and the Shingo Institute at Utah State University are pleased to announce a new offering: the Master of Business Administration (MBA Program) with a specialization in Shingo Leadership and Enterprise Excellence (Shingo MBA). This AACSB-accredited, 15-month graduate degree will create value for executive-level professionals by giving them the knowledge and skills to leverage the principles and tools of lean continuous improvement.
Rooted in the philosophies of Shigeo Shingo of Toyota, the Shingo Model has been developed and refined at Utah State University over the past 27 years and is an internationally recognized standard for creating an organizational culture based on philosophies of whole enterprise excellence.This new MBA program utilizes the Shingo Model to help students learn a new way of thinking about value creation and what differentiates organizations that have experienced sustained improvement and consistent delivery of success to their stakeholders.
The program will begin in October 2015 and conclude in December 2016. Courses will be taught in downtown Salt Lake City one weekend a month on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Program costs will be $1,300/credit for this 35-credit degree, payable over four semesters. Total cost will be $45,500 and will include tuition, fees, books, materials, breakfasts, and lunches. Not included in the cost are transportation and lodging.

Admission requirements include an undergraduate degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 for the last 60 semester credits and six years of managerial leadership experience (preferred). More information about the admission process can be found at http://huntsman.usu.edu/fmba/.
