Loan Fund

The loan fund allocates donations directly to the loan recipients for the purpose of starting, operating, and managing their respective businesses and not for any other purpose.

After an entrepreneurial team has compiled a business plan through research and investigation, it presents the business plan to USU students and faculty who perform due diligence and determine whether or not the business is worthy of funding. Those teams that qualify for funding and have specified an adequate amount to start and run their business are then administered funds in the form of a loan. The funds are normally managed through an NGO or other organization in coordination with the businesses to ensure loan repayment and proper handling of the assets.
