Clare Leishman – B.S., Finance, 1972

Clare Leishman, employee of 18 years at Lewiston State Bank, will be retiring in June and will take with him a legacy of experience, expertise and the highest quality of customer service. Leishman came to Lewiston State Bank in 1996 when there was only one branch. In 1996 he opened the new North Logan branch where he served as branch manager. Leishman graduated from Utah State University in 1972 with a degree in business administration and finance. His first job was with Zions Bank from 1972-76. In 1976 he went to First National Bank of Logan until Zions bought them out in 1981. Leishman serves on the Sunshine Terrace board, Mountain West Small Business Finance board, and past USU boards. He also serves as treasurer for the Cache County Junior Livestock Committee. Leishman is married to Kathleen Henderson and they have two daughters, one son and 13 grandchildren. He loves the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with his friends and family.
