The Rotary Club of Logan recently installed its new officers. Leading the club is President Rick Leetham, KeyBank branch manager. Rick has served as past president of the Cache Chamber of Commerce and United Way of Cache Valley, membership on the Logan City Parking Authority Board, and officiating high school basketball and football for 25 years. He recently attended the Rotary International meeting in Lisbon, Portugal. Other Logan board members include president-elect Michael Wallace of Zions Bank; treasurer Alta Markeson of Sunshine Terrace; secretary Brian Cannell of Hillyard, Anderson, and Olsen; past president Larry Hogge, dentist with All About Teeth; members at Large Nick Morrison of USU Caine College for the Arts and Ralph Bair, orthodontist in private practice. The Rotary Club of Logan is one of 34,000 clubs world-wide whose objective is service. Locally it is known for its third-grade dictionary project and scholarship support for students attending Utah State University and Bridgerland Applied Technology College. It also provides support for the Cache Community Food Pantry, maintenance of Garff Gardens, and semi-annual highway cleanup. Events such as the RAW bike race provide funding for international and local service projects.
