Larry and Myra Hendricks
This gift will impact many lives as diligent students benefit from the scholarship it will fund each year.
Larry, who got a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting in 1968, served in the U.S Army in Vietnam. Shortly after his service in Vietnam, he took a position with Peat, Marwick & Mitchell as a senior accountant for three years. He then went to the University of Utah where he graduated cum laude with a master’s degree in business administration.
In 1976 Larry went to work for American Stravell, a company that eventually had to declare bankruptcy. He helped the company through the difficult time and decided to become a self-employed bankruptcy specialist. In 1990 he accepted a job as vice president of finance and general manager of Daily Foods where he worked until he retired.
Myra, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in business in 1967, is a counselor at Woods Cross High School.
Larry has served in leadership positions for the St. Vincent DePaul Food Kitchen and Habitat for Humanity. He also teaches at Weber State University and at the LDS Business College.
