Advanced Web-Based Management Information Systems Development – 3 credits
Students learn how to design, develop, and implement an Internet commerce website. Includes instruction in modeling and building an advanced management website system.
Prerequisites: MIS 3330 and 3500; admittance to a USU major; cumulative GPA of 2.67 or higher; and completion of at least 40 credits.

MIS Strategy Workshop - 3 credits
Designed for IT leaders, managers, directors, and aspiring CIOs responsible fore enterprise adn or business unit information systems and technology. This is a nontechnical course, and will enable you to answer the following questions:
How does the CIO enable business objectives by using information systems and technologies?
What are the steps?
How do you manage the process?
How do you convert business strategy into systems terms and vice versa?
How do you create and IS/IT vision/policy statement?
How do you create opportunities using IS/IT?
How do you assess the gap between where you are now and where you need to be?
