The Jon M. Huntsman School of Business MIS Meet the Firms Night is a unique opportunity to connect the best and brightest MIS Aggies with potential employers and industry leaders for networking, internships, and full-time career opportunities. This event is an ideal venue for employers to enjoy exclusive and personal access to skilled and knowledgeable MIS students from the Huntsman School of Business. Students who attend the MIS Meet the Firms Night do so after careful study and preparation involving résumé workshops and career exploration activities sponsored by our award-winning student organization, the Association of Information Systems (AIS).
Through dynamic and innovative courses of study, Huntsman MIS students are strategically poised to enter the competitive job market of information systems with cutting edge skills in business intelligence, database management, project management, web development, IT strategy, and technical communication.

The MIS program is housed in the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business, the oldest business school west of the Mississippi. USU has offered business degrees since 1894 and has long held prestigious accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International and continues to be on the forefront of advanced business education.
The Meet the Firms night will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Riverwoods Conference Center in Logan, Utah (see below for directions and venue information). Space is limited and advance registration is required to attend the event. The registration fee is $300 per table, up to four tables per firm. Each table will accommodate three professionals. Firms are encouraged to bring tablecloths, posters, and other supplies to decorate their tables and advertise their career opportunities.
In addition to the Meet the Firms night itself, each participating firm has the additional option of sponsoring pre-and post-event activities that offer students a chance to interact more closely and exclusively with the company. For example, pre-event activities might include social gatherings (such as a pizza or bowling night) that allow you to promote your firm and interact with students on a more informal basis. Following the event, a time can be arranged for you conduct on-campus interviews with any prospective candidates.
