About the Program

The Huntsman School of Business Student Mentor Program is a volunteer service program. It is an opportunity for current students to make a difference and help future student take advantage of opportunities available to them.

Each mentor will be assigned 5 incoming freshman students. These future students have applied and been accepted to Utah State University. They are also direct admits into the Huntsman School of Business which means each student has a minimum 24 ACT and 3.5 HS GPA (26 ACT and 3.6 GPA for Accounting Majors).

Mentors will be responsible for contacting their students and finding out where they are at in their decision making process (If they are planning to come to Utah State or still in the decision making process). After assessing each student's current situation mentors will make and execute plans to engage these students and provide them with relevant and applicable information.
