Since 2004 the MBA program has used the Educational Testing Service (ETS) Major Field Test for MBAs to monitor mastery of core business subjects and overall achievement of its graduating students. Results in all subject areas have been consistently high with the overall mean in 2009 at the 85th percentile (including the Logan, Salt Lake and Orem cohorts) compared to MBA programs at 199 other universities nationally. The number of universities participating in the ETS MBA Major Field Test increased significantly in 2008, going from 133 to 199. The ETS Major Field Test for MBA students uses case-based questions and assesses students in five core subjects. The results below show the percent of MBA programs at other institutions that had student results at or below USU's.
