Kunpeng Li is an Assistant Professor of Operations Management at the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business. She received her B.S. in electrical engineering from Shandong Institute of Technology (China) and her M.S. in business administration from Nankai University (China). She earned her Ph.D. in operations management from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Among her research interests are supply chain management with a special emphasis on product and channel design, and the operations-marketing interface. Her scholarship has appeared in various academic journals, including the leading journal Production and Operations Management.
She has taught at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Utica College, and Sam Houston State University, and received several teaching awards. She also worked as a media executive in Grey Worldwide in China.
She enjoys painting, reading, travel, and hiking.
