The Management Department offers outstanding educational opportunities for students who are interested in entrepreneurship and human resource management. Our students have outstanding opportunities to learn from knowledgeable and dedicated faculty. In each of our majors, students are taught by both Ph.D. qualified faculty members who are well recognized in their fields and executives-in-residence who bring top-level professional experience to the college. In addition, we work hard to create opportunities for students to meet and learn from alumni and other professionals who have been extremely successful in their fields. During the past year, entrepreneurship students organized and participated in a campus-wide entrepreneur day that included an "elevator pitch" competition in which the first, second, and third-place winners walked away with $7,000 in prize money. Our HR Games teams, affiliated with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), won the regional competition (both first and second place). The first place team went on to place second in the national competition. We are proud of the accomplishments of our students and faculty and look forward to more great things in the future.
