Certification Examination Eligibility Requirements

Course Fees and Schedule 

The course is taught on Thursday evenings from 6 - 9 p.m. in the Business Building (Room 119) at the Salt Lake Community College-Redwood Road Campus (4600 S Redwood Road). The course runs for 12 sessions on Thursday evenings starting    January 26, 2012 through April 19, 2012. Fees for the course are $975 for SHRM® members and $1000 for non-members. The fee includes the SHRM Learning System® manuals, web-based SHRM Learning System® software, access to the Resource Center, instructor handouts, and 36 hours of classroom instruction. Materials have been updated to meet 2012 PHR® and SPHR® exam specifications.

Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to the first 40 registered participants. To sign up for the classroom version at Salt Lake Community College, please complete the HR brochure and registration form. The registration form and fee payment must be postmarked and received by Wednesday, January 11, 2012. List only one person per form. Credit cards are NOT accepted. NO REFUNDS are granted once the class begins. Parking fees are not included. Please make checks payable to Utah State University and send to:

Please note that the HRCI exam registration is separate and an additional cost from the course registration. The HRCI exam is scheduled to be held during an 8-week window, May 1, 2012 through June 30, 2012.  A computer-based exam will be used.
