Curriculum

The Master of Accounting (MAcc) degree requires the completion of 36 graduate credits in addition to the prerequisite courses requirements listed below. The 36 graduate hours include the MAcc Core Requirements (24 credits) and the Specialization Requirements (12 credits). Students will choose one of three available specializations (Professional Accountancy, Taxation, or Personal Financial Planning).

Specialization Elective Course Requirements

Elective courses may be chosen from ACCT and PFP courses offered in other specializations or other approved graduate level course from within the Huntsman School of Business based on student experience, interests and career path choices.

ACCT 6300 – Accounting Internship may be completed as an elective course within any specialization subject to approval by the graduate advisor.
