The Society for International Business and Economic Development (SIBED) is a club housed in the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business focusing on the strategic role businesses can play in the development of people and the communities where they live.
SIBED focuses on 3 specific pillars: Corporate Social Responsibility, Global Issues Awareness, and Promotion of Student International Experiences.
The Society for International Business and Economic Development
(SIBED) aims to promote the role of students and organizations in
advancing global society. SIBED focuses on three areas: (1) expanding
awareness of international opportunities for academic and professional
development, (2) developing knowledge and understanding of current
issues in international business and development, and (3) being an
advocate for corporate and humanitarian social responsibility.
