Free hotdogs served by the Deans of the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business.

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 11

9:00 AM – 3:00 PM: Huntsman Cancer Institute Service Project, Business Building Lobby, Library, TSC, LDS Institute, and Greek Lawn

Spend 5 minutes or more helping cut, sew, and stuff rice packs, fold origami flowers, and write letters of encouragement for cancer patients.

6:00 PM: Graduate Student Networking Dinner, (By Invitation Only)

Members of the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business alumni network and national advisory board are invited to attend dinner with Huntsman Students for a networking/appreciation dinner. Limited Seating.

6:30 PM: Entrepreneurship Club Kickoff Meeting, Engineering Building Room 103

Learn about the leadership and involvement opportunities within the teams of the entrepreneurship club. Open to all majors. Free food!

8:30 PM – 11:00 PM: Ugly Tie Dance, Location Library Grass

Come and dance you worries of school away, and make sure to wear your UGLIEST tie. 

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12

10:00 AM: Donuts, Outside of Business Building

Enjoy your morning with a donut just outside of the doors of the Business Building.

11:30 AM – 12:45 PM Common Hour Speaker: Spencer West, TSC Ballroom

Spencer West will be the first speaker during the new USU common hour.

5:00 PM: Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) Opening Social, Business Building Lobby

All students interested in learning more about the IMA club are invited to attend their opening social. Free Ice Cream.

6:00 PM: Finance and Economics Club Opening Social, Business Building RM 214

All students interested in learning more about Finance and Economics are invited to attend the opening social. Free Pizza.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 13

10:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Professional Photographs, Business School Lobby

Dress in your business attire and come take free professional photos.

6:00 PM: Awards Banquet (By Invitation Only)

An annual celebration of outstanding Huntsman Students that have received scholarships or awards.  

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 14

11:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Dean’s Address and Welcome to Students, Business Building Auditorium RM 215

Dean Douglas D. Anderson will address new and transfer students about the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business. There will be a 20-30 minute Q&A open to students after the Dean speaks. All students encouraged to attend, ice cream social to follow.

8:00 PM – 10:00 PM: Recycled Percussion Band, Old Main Hill

Vegas performing group, Recycled Percussion, will take the stage on Old Main Hill. Come enjoy the performance. FREE and open to all students.
