The Jon M. Huntsman School of Business is dedicated to a learning culture that fosters ethical leadership among its students. This dedication is founded on the belief that principles of professional integrity and honesty are essential to a successful career and a well-functioning society. To support this culture, the Huntsman School provides students with opportunities to explore the benefits of embracing ethical leadership. In the classroom, students are exposed to examples of real-world ethical dilemmas through the use of cutting-edge case analyses. Students also learn about ethical leadership through the Partners In Business Program where business leaders from throughout the country are invited to discuss ethical issues. The principles of ethical leadership are also emphasized through required readings from internationally acclaimed authors. Most recently, students have been presented with the book, "Positive Leadership: Strategies for Extraordinary Performance," by Kim Cameron. In this book, Cameron describes how organizations can cultivate more positive work environments through an understanding and acceptance of ethical virtues. From case analyses, to seminars and required readings, the Huntsman School of Business has demonstrated a commitment to instilling in our students an appreciation for the principles of ethical leadership.
