Entrepreneurial Spirit

At the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business innovative thinking is becoming the norm and entrepreneurship is celebrated. The school has just hired the former CEO of Prolexys Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Dave Clark, to be its new executive director of entrepreneurship programs. We teach students that entrepreneurs can be found in small start-up companies and in large corporations. The demand is always there for self-starters who find creative solutions that produce results in today’s competitive marketplace. In April, the Huntsman School of Business will host Entrepreneur Week, featuring events that will give high school and college-level students exposure to leading entrepreneurs and allow them to test their best ideas on a panel of expert judges during the school’s annual elevator pitch competition.
