Cathy Hartman has been on faculty in the Department of Business Administration since 1992. She holds the rank of professor. Her research centers on how interpersonal influence and social systems affects the diffusion of ideas and clean products and technology. She is the principal investigator on a $1 million U.S. Department of Energy grant for developing wind power in the state of Utah. She teaches the undergraduate, senior level Buyer Behavior class and a graduate seminar in Consumer Behavior and Sustainable Marketing.
