The Jon M. Huntsman School of Business is very pleased to report the outstanding performance of our graduating seniors (class of 2009) on the Educational Testing Service Major Field Test in Business. A combined random sample of 133 graduating seniors from Utah State University’s Jon M. Huntsman School of Business took the test in April 2009. The sample was selected by requiring all students in three sections of the capstone course to take the test. Compared to the 83,323 students taking the test nationally, students at Utah State University had a mean score in the 75th percentile. This mean score ranked USU in the 90th percentile compared to the 564 other institutions taking the test. The test assesses basic competency in the business core subjects of accounting, economics, management, quantitative business analysis, finance, marketing, legal and social environment, and international issues. We are very proud of the demonstrated competency of our students.
