Transfer Students
If you are a transferring to Utah State University from another college or university and wish to apply for admission to the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business, you must:
- Be accepted into Utah State University.
- Complete at least 24 post-high school college credit hours.

Qualifications
If you have earned a composite 3.5 GPA in your college courses, we consider you to be among “The Best and the Brightest”. As a reward for your scholastic achievement, you can be automatically admitted into the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business. Just contact the Business School Program & Advising Center in BUS 309 at 435-797-2272 to set up an appointment. They will help you declare your major and set up a recommended class schedules.
If you have a composite GPA between 2.67 & 3.49 -- and have taken an equivalent of ECON 1500, STAT 2300, and ENGL 2010, earning a C grade or higher in each course – you may apply for admission to the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business. Space is limited and competitive, and admission is based on availability.
Huntsman School Admissions Application Process
The application process is very simple; you will complete a short online application.
You will be notified via e-mail as to your acceptance status. If accepted, you will be assigned an academic advisor based upon your declared major. If you are not accepted, the reasons for denial will be listed.
