Gary E. Stevenson was honored with the Distinguished Executive Alumnus Award.
| The Jon M. Huntsman School of Business has presented its highest honor, the Distinguished Executive Alumnus Award, to Gary E. Stevenson, cofounder of Icon Health & Fitness, Inc., and the presiding bishop of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Mr. Stevenson graduated from the Huntsman School of Business in 1979, and while he was there he cofounded Icon Health & Fitness, Inc., a firm that went on to become the world's largest developer, manufacturer, and marketer of fitness equipment.

In September 2012 the Huntsman School of Business hosted University of Missouri Professor David Rose, a distinguished scholar and author of the recent book "The Moral Foundation of Economic Behavior." In his book and his presentations on campus, Professor Rose emphasized how "duty-based moral restraint" is the foundation of a great society.

Weston Smith to Discuss $3 Billion Fraud

Weston Smith will talk about fraud detection and prevention.
| The former CFO of Healthsouth, Weston Smith, who blew the whistle on a multi-year, $3 billion fraud, will be a keynote speaker at a Partners In Business conference at Utah State University on Oct. 25.
Mr. Smith, who is now a business ethics consultant, will be a speaker at the 36th Annual Accounting Conference, sponsored by the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business, that is to be held at the Eccles Conference Center on the USU campus. He is just one of several speakers slated to speak at the one-day event.
