Bill Child, speaks to Huntsman Students about his time at R.C. Willey
 
Bill Child spent an hour speaking to students at the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business in early April. After detailing R.C. Willey's rise to becoming a giant in the home furnishings industry and its eventual sale to Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway in 1995, Mr. Child summed up his last 12 years in one sentence:

"If you ever have a chance to do something with Warren Buffett, do it," Mr. Child said.

James Bullard to Present George S. Eccles Distinguished Lecture
James Bullard, President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, will present the 2012 George S. Eccles Distinguished Lecture at Utah State University, Monday, April 16, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., in the Orson A. Christensen Auditorium (room 215) of the George S. Eccles Business Building.

Students, faculty, and members of the public are invited to attend the free lecture.

Management Students Give Back to Community
Fists were blocked, kicks were deflected, and people were twisting around on the floor to escape being pinned down.

And nobody seemed to mind.

On March 30, Utah State University students and members of the Cache Valley community came and participated in a self-defense class to raise awareness of abuse and how to prevent it. The event was put on by a team of students from a management class at the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business.
